To Do and Done

£0.00

Who:

Autistic children, students with executive functioning challenges, and visual learners who feel overwhelmed by verbal instructions. This is for the child who gets “stuck” when facing multiple tasks or who experiences anxiety when they can’t see the “finish line” of their day.

What:

This is a high-contrast Visual To-Do & Done Board. Using a simple, color-coded system—Green for “To-Do” and Red for “Done”—it allows children to physically move task cards from one side to the other. It acts as a permanent visual anchor that stays consistent even when the tasks themselves change.

Why:

Neurodivergent brains often struggle with “internal organization.” By externalizing the to-do list, you take the pressure off the child’s working memory. The Green/Red color coding leverages “Stop/Go” logic that is easy to process even during moments of high stress. Moving a card to the red column provides an immediate, visual “hit” of success, building self-efficacy and reducing the frustration that comes from not knowing what to do next. It transitions the child from being “managed” by an adult to managing their own time.
