What:
This is a simple visual schedule to help your child follow the steps to take a shower. Print out the schedule and put up in the bathroom where the child can see it. Label each step as it is followed.
Why:
Having clear steps and expectations helps your child understand the steps needed to be successful with showering. Pictures make it much easier to achieve independence too! You can build on success by teaching one step at a time and working through the schedule, don’t forget to always pair the actions with language.
